-I was at a friends house getting ready for a bbq when the stay-in-auntie cranked the radio. I instantly went into "In one ear - out the other" -mode until the o-so familiar first beats of Talibs & Tek's "The BLAST" came to my attention live & direct. I rushed to the source & started brushing my teeth to the beat & reciting Talib into my toothbrush-a-phone. Verse one. Stay-in-auntie enters the room, shakes her head at my enthusiasm, ruffles her nose at Talib & proptly switches to a different station where Gucci Man is "educating" & leaves me & my toothbrush in mid harlem shake....
